CR Crafts Terms of Service
These Terms of Service apply when you browse, purchase from, or otherwise use the CR Crafts website and services.
By placing an order with CR Crafts, you agree to these terms.
1. About CR Crafts
CR Crafts is an Australian small handmade business offering handmade accessories, bookish products, gifts and related items.
Because many products are handmade, slight variations may occur between individual items.
2. Products
We aim to display and describe all CR Crafts products as accurately as possible.
However:
- Colours may vary slightly depending on lighting, photography and your screen settings.
- Fabric pattern placement may differ between products.
- Handmade items may have minor variations in stitching, sizing and finish.
- Product measurements may vary slightly due to the handmade process.
These minor differences are considered part of the handmade nature of CR Crafts products and are not generally considered faults.
3. Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
Some CR Crafts products are made in small quantities or from limited fabric supplies, so particular fabrics, colours or designs may sell out.
We reserve the right to discontinue or change products at any time.
If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you to discuss an alternative, replacement or refund.
4. Pricing
All prices are displayed in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.
CR Crafts may update product prices, bundles, promotions or shipping charges at any time.
The price charged will be the price displayed at the time your order is placed, unless an obvious pricing or technical error has occurred.
5. Orders
An order is not considered accepted until payment has been successfully received and the order has been confirmed.
CR Crafts reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
- A product is unavailable
- There has been a pricing or listing error
- Payment has not been successfully processed
- Fraud or suspicious activity is suspected
- An order cannot reasonably be completed as requested
If CR Crafts cancels a paid order, any applicable payment will be refunded.
6. Handmade Processing Times
Many CR Crafts products are handmade or made to order.
Processing times may vary depending on the product, order size, customisation and current workload.
Estimated processing times are provided as a guide and do not include postage or delivery time.
If you require an order by a particular date, please contact CR Crafts before placing your order.
While we will always do our best to assist, specific delivery dates cannot be guaranteed unless expressly agreed.
7. Custom & Personalised Orders
CR Crafts welcomes custom orders where available.
Customers are responsible for checking all information provided for custom or personalised products before approving or placing the order.
This may include:
- Names
- Wording
- Colours
- Fabric selections
- Sizing
- Personalisation details
- Design choices
Once production has started, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
Custom, personalised and made-to-order products are generally not eligible for change-of-mind returns or refunds.
This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
8. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Orders will not begin processing until payment has been successfully received unless otherwise agreed.
CR Crafts does not directly store full payment card information. Payments are processed through the relevant payment provider or ecommerce platform.
9. Shipping
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
Please check your address carefully before placing your order.
CR Crafts is not responsible for delays, redelivery fees or additional postage costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer.
Once an order has been dispatched, delivery timeframes are controlled by the shipping provider.
Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed.
10. Lost, Delayed or Damaged Parcels
If your parcel is significantly delayed, lost or damaged during transit, please contact CR Crafts.
Where appropriate, we will assist with enquiries through the shipping provider.
Customers may be required to provide photographs, packaging or other information to support a shipping claim.
11. Local Pickup
Where local pickup is available, customers must follow the collection instructions provided by CR Crafts.
Orders should not be collected until confirmation has been provided that they are ready.
Any agreed pickup arrangements are for order collection only.
12. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Returns, refunds and exchanges are handled in accordance with the CR Crafts Returns & Refunds Policy.
CR Crafts does not generally provide refunds or exchanges for change of mind, particularly for custom or personalised products.
However, nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
13. Australian Consumer Law
CR Crafts products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy if a product:
- Has a major problem
- Is faulty
- Is not of acceptable quality
- Does not match its description
- Is not fit for a disclosed purpose
These legal rights apply in addition to any rights provided under CR Crafts policies.
14. Promotions, Discounts & Giveaways
Promotions, discount codes, bundles and giveaways may be subject to additional conditions.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Promotions cannot be combined with other discounts.
- Discount codes must be entered at checkout before payment is completed.
- Discounts cannot generally be applied retrospectively.
- Promotions may be changed or withdrawn at any time where permitted by law.
- Giveaway prizes cannot be exchanged for cash unless specifically stated.
Any additional promotional terms provided at the time of the promotion also apply.
15. Intellectual Property
All original CR Crafts branding, product photography, graphics, written content, logos, designs and marketing materials remain the property of CR Crafts unless otherwise stated.
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, resell or commercially use CR Crafts content without prior written permission.
Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of any CR Crafts intellectual property associated with that product.
16. Website Use
You agree not to misuse the CR Crafts website or services.
You must not knowingly:
- Introduce malicious software
- Attempt unauthorised access
- Interfere with website operation
- Submit fraudulent orders
- Use CR Crafts content unlawfully
- Use the website in a way that may damage CR Crafts or other users
17. Third-Party Services
The CR Crafts website may use or link to third-party services such as Shopify, payment providers, social media platforms and shipping providers.
CR Crafts is not responsible for the independent terms, policies, availability or operation of third-party websites or services.
Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, CR Crafts is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our products, website or services.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under Australian law.
19. Privacy
Personal information collected through CR Crafts is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy requirements.
Information may be used to process orders, provide customer support, communicate about purchases and operate the CR Crafts business.
20. Changes to These Terms
CR Crafts may update these Terms of Service from time to time.
The version published on the website at the time of your purchase will generally apply to that transaction.
Continued use of the website after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.
21. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws applicable in New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes will be subject to the applicable laws and courts of Australia, subject to any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
